I was very proud of the Grade 6 presentations at the Science Fair on Tuesday. Their posters were well organized and their presentations were engaging and informative. They were excellent role-models for the primary students. This was a great practice for our Exhibition!
This week we also continued to work on our persuasive writing. Students wrote about the pros and cons of migration. Their skills are developing. This was the best writing of the year for many of the students.
For our Unit of Inquiry we worked on Venn Diagrams which compared the migration of two different countries. Students were really put to the test applying their note-taking skills, as all information on the diagram needed to relate to migration. I was very impressed with what the students were able to present on Wednesday to their classmates. We all learned a lot!
