Last Wednesday’s Arts Evening in the newly-opened Mazoon theatre/gym, highlighted the accomplishments of our young performers as they played in the band, sung with the choir and danced to the beat. Congratulations to all our students who participated in this event, and a big thank you to their teachers, Mr. Eric Griebenow, Ms. Kirrili Williams and Ms Briar Chatterjea for sharing their passion for the performing arts to the ABIS community.
ABIS, since its inception, has always been committed to the performing arts. Music and dance not only inspire students and bring enjoyment, but there is a growing body of research that shows how performing arts are linked to stronger academic performance in literacy, maths and overall cognitive development.
