It has been a lively week in Grade 2 with one of our reading groups preparing the play ‘Beauty and the Beast’, a beautiful Cultural Lunch on Wednesday and presenting some of our learning at Assembly on Thursday.
Every student talked about the dish they had brought for the shared lunch. Students enjoyed trying different foods and were very respectful throughout the lunch. As he tucked into another hotdog, Shehary said he wished we could do this every day!
A big thank you to families for sending such delicious food. It was a most enjoyable experience for all.
We were very excited about presenting some of our learning at Assembly today. We danced, sang, and shared some artifacts that we thought were interesting from some of our cultures. Hopefully the audience enjoyed it as much as we did!
