We have had another action packed week in Grade 2S. We enjoyed seeing the Grade 6 students present their Exhibition Studies. We especially loved seeing those who were elder siblings of students in our classes and were very interested in seeing and hearing those who had included us in their research. The Grade 6 students made their presentations very interactive and we enjoyed taking part in their activities.
In Mr Barakat’s Arabic class students have been learning some phrases that are useful for shopping. Everyone practised well in readiness for a special guest coming on Thursday. Ms Eiman turned out to be our special visitor. She seemed to love us speaking in Arabic to her.
We are developing understanding of the multiplication tables. To help us learn them, we are timing how fast we can say a table and aiming to say each one in less than 30 seconds. It is a challenge but we are off to a great start.
