Grade 3 have been exploring poetry with Ms Drower this week. They discovered some meanings of words and looked at how ideas are expressed in poetry. What a surprise to find that the rhythms we have learnt in Music are actually in our poetry! We found the rhythms to the poem”Green” and also discovered that there are an equal number of beats in each line of this particular poem. Our PYP program is all about making connections.
