Grade 8 started working on a an experiment this week that will allow them to explore the link between the mass of a falling object and the time taken to fall. The equipment? A measuring tape, an iPad and 10 cupcake cases (sadly without the tasty cupcakes in them). Part of their assessment for the current unit is to produce a lab report for this experiment and they have been working away on this with great determination.
Grade 12 started their new Electricity sub-topic (Heating Effects of Electric Currents) with a quick revision activity (writing on windows – always fun) that allowed them to show their prior learning (quite a lot, happy days!).
