We are all looking forward to the opportunity to spend a bit of extra time with our families over the Autumn break. It has been a really busy ten week so far – full of learning, activities and experiences for our students and we are really happy with our new teachers and how far we’ve come as a school. As I write this 16 of our students are improving their French in Lausanne, Switzerland and having a fantastic time.

Many of you will know that Primary Team Leader, Michelle Simpson, had a bit of a health scare recently when it was discovered that she had early stage breast cancer. We now have some really good news to share. Michelle has had some surgery and is now completely cancer free but will still require five weeks of precautionary radiation treatment in Abu Dhabi. Her plan is to return on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons so that she can touch base with her team. She will also be checking her emails daily if you need to reach her. We are sure that you will celebrate the good news as we did and are grateful for your support and understanding in her ‘partial’ absence. We are lucky to have her!
