This was a great week back. We read Yumbo Gumbo and then made our own recipes. We also went on a noun hunt, found adjectives in stories, practiced reading with expression and much more. We started writing about the best part of me after listening to other children tell about the best part of them. In math we worked on adding and subtracting practicing counting on and counting back. In UOI, we read the story Have You Filled A Bucket Today. Then we made and designed our own buckets, and at the end of the day we reflect on how we can fill each other’s bucket.
