It’s hard to believe that we already have a holiday having only been back a few weeks. Many of my colleagues actually feel that we don’t deserve one yet, and I know several ABIS teachers will be in school for part of the break or working from home. We have made it clear to older students that they should use their time wisely, balancing staying on top of their studies with seeing friends/travelling/socialising, etc.
Thank you to the parents who came to the Parent Information Evening on Monday. We hope you found it informative and worthwhile. The home school partnership is vital to every child’s success, even with the older ones, so any opportunity to strengthen it should be taken. I have attached the relevant PDFs if you were unable to come. Information about specific curriculum was shared verbally and will be available soon on our new curriculum website, which we will promote shortly.
Please note that the ASA’s start on Sunday 18th September. If you haven’t returned the forms please do so as soon as possible upon you return.
Book Week runs from Sunday 25th September to Thursday 29th of September. On Thursday there will be a dress up parade so get your thinking caps on if you haven’t already, and come up with an outfit to wear. There will be lots of exciting events happening during this week. Watch the broadcaster for more details.
The featured image is one of many articles appearing in newspapers across Oman in English and Arabic over the last few weeks about our exciting expansion programme. Much more to come on that. Eid Mubarak!
