Following a wonderful International Evening event last Thursday, where our students sang, danced and entertained, we had the Muscat Festival of Choirs on Saturday, the invitational dance at the British School, Muscat, on Sunday, and the spring concert (Band, Choir, IGCSE Music) on Tuesday. To wrap up the week, we also had a special assembly with IGCSE Music performances today. We are very proud of all of our performers and celebrate their courage and progress. Thank you once again to all the teachers and parents involved in supporting these events.
Spirit week has been great fun and met its objective of bringing everyone together. Thank you to our Student Council for dreaming up some great ideas and getting everyone involved. Your input is much appreciated. Sadly, we needed to postpone the swim gala due to a bad weather warning, but we hope to run it first week back and that everyone can make it.
We had a successful visit from the Ministry of Education Head office in Muscat this week. They were impressed with the school and especially about how ‘student centred’ we are. This is welcome news because the support of the MOE will be very important as we grow and develop.
Have an enjoyable break with your family.
