After discussing the language of war by focusing on the Vietnam War in 11th grade English A, students were required to write an analytical essay about one of the war texts, focusing on the way language is used to create power within the context of war. On the day the essay was due, Alex surprised us all by bringing in Vietnamese Spring Rolls to share, making the handing in of an essay a truly delicious experience!
