Students in Grade Four are completely engrossed in the Exploration Unit of Inquiry. They are collecting information from the Internet, TV, literature and from discussions with family and sharing what they are learning in the classroom. They are now sorting out the information and comparing different perspectives on exploration. For example – what are the results of exploration and how were people’s lives affected? What might have the Portuguese felt when they first explored Oman several hundred years ago? And what might the Omanis have felt? For space exploration, was it right or wrong to send animals into space before trying people? What might the points of view have been? These are questions the students are in the process of considering. Enjoy the enclosed photos!
