All the students have arrived back from their summer holiday and they are getting settled into their individual art spaces. It is nice to have everyone together and personalizing their desks and pin boards. New ideas and artworks are soon to be underway!
This week, the Grade 12 students have completed their 1-1 meetings with me to discuss their artworks from last year. I have also introduced the final component of the class. For SL students, this is the Connections Study (20%), and for HL students, it is the Artist Project (30%).
For Grade 11, students are completing their first digital slides, which give me insight into who they are and what types of artwork they are interested in. Next week, we are diving straight into the first unit. More details to come!
