Dear Grade 3C Families,

What a great first week of school! It has been a joy meeting the students, hearing about their summer adventures, and watching our Grade 3 community grow.

This week, students spent time getting to know one another, establishing classroom routines and discussing how we can create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment. We also began thinking about how the words we choose and our actions can help make our classroom a welcoming place for everyone.

Our Essential agreements are:

We are kind and respectful to people and nature. 🌍❀️
We listen to each other. πŸ‘‚
We take turns and share. πŸ”„

We take care of our classroom and belongings. 🏫

We keep ourselves and others safe. πŸ›‘οΈ
We help and support one another. 🀝
We are open-minded and ready to learn. 🧠

Important Dates

  • September 1st: Parent’s Open Night (5:00 PM – 6:30 PM)
  • September 6th: ASA Round 1 Begins

We are so excited for the journey ahead! As the famous Dr. Seuss story says, “Oh, the places you’ll go!”β€”and we cannot wait to see all the learning, growing, and discovering our Grade 3 students will do this year.
