I would like to warmly welcome you and your children to the start of the 2026–2027 academic year. We hope you have all enjoyed the summer break, and we are looking forward to welcoming our students back to school.
School begins on Sunday, 23 August at 8:00 am.
School timings
KG1 & KG2: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Grades 1–12: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
I am also very pleased to announce that Khoula Al Yaarubi has been appointed as the new Assistant Head of ABIS.
Ms Khoula brings more than 11 years of experience from an IB school in Muscat, where she gained extensive experience in both education and school administration. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with students, staff, parents, and the Ministry of Education, giving her a strong understanding of the many different aspects of school life.
We are delighted to have Ms Khoula joining the ABIS leadership team. When you see her around school, please introduce yourself and join me in making her feel very welcome within the ABIS community.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday and to a positive and successful year ahead.
