This week, the highlight was undoubtedly our Summer Concert. Students spent a great deal of time rehearsing and preparing, and their hard work paid off brilliantly in today’s performance. A particular highlight was their fantastic rendition of “Roar” by Katy Perry, which they performed with great enthusiasm and confidence. Students should feel very proud of themselves for all the effort they put into making the concert such a success.
Alongside this, we continued exploring our Unit of Inquiry on space and curiosity. Students investigated possible destinations for future space travel, considering the opportunities and challenges that humans might face if we were to live beyond Earth. They also began thinking creatively about the kinds of technologies that may be needed to support future exploration and settlement.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting final week of Grade 5 ahead of us. On Sunday, we will be holding our class party. Students should bring their swimming costume for our time in the pool. Lunch will be provided, but students will still need to bring their own snacks for the day.
A reminder that our final day of Grade 5 will be Wednesday, and students will finish at 12:20pm.
