This week, many of our Grade 5 students were studying hard as they completed their Arabic, OSS, and Islamic exams. We would like to wish all students the very best of luck with their results.
At the same time, our AAL students took on a very different role by becoming fitness coaches for the morning. They did a fantastic job designing, creating, and testing their own fitness circuits before leading other classes through the activities. Many teachers commented on the excellent leadership, communication, and encouragement shown by the Grade 5 students throughout the sessions. Great job to all involved!
Alongside this, learning continued across the curriculum. In our Unit of Inquiry, students continued exploring space and technological advances over time, considering how different inventions and discoveries have helped us better understand the universe. In literacy, both classes explored either poetry or narrative writing, while in maths students continued developing their understanding of number and data handling.

Looking ahead, next week will be a much shorter one, with only two school days due to the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday. However, we will continue building on all of these same areas of learning.
We would also like to wish all families celebrating Eid al-Adha a wonderful time with family and friends, and wish everyone a restful and enjoyable break before we return for the final stretch of Grade 5!
Best wishes,
Mr. G & Miss Megan
