Learning This Week

This week marks the final stage of our Movement Composition (Gymnastics) unit. Students have been exploring more advanced skills and challenging themselves to extend their movement capabilities. The focus has been on refining technique, body control, spatial awareness, and safe risk-taking.

Some students explored the use of the trampoline to develop proper front flip technique with guidance and support, while others continued refining advanced forward rolls and transitions within their routines. Throughout the lessons, students demonstrated perseverance, courage, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones as they worked toward personal growth and improvement.

Student Spotlight & Looking Ahead

It has been wonderful to see students actively challenging themselves while supporting one another throughout the learning process. Many students are showing increased confidence, coordination, and self-management as they refine their skills and apply feedback to improve performance.

As the unit concludes, students will continue focusing on performing movements with greater control, precision, and confidence while reflecting on their personal progress and development as learners and performers.
