KG2 Broadcaster – Looking Ahead to Next Week
Next week, we will continue exploring our Unit of Inquiry:
“The arts enable us to share stories creatively.”
Throughout the week, students will revisit some of the stories we have explored during the unit and reflect on the many ways stories can be shared through art, drama, movement, puppetry, and storytelling.
📚 Our focus story next week will be The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and other stories by Eric Carle Like The Artist who Painted The Blue Horse . Students will explore how authors and illustrators use pictures, colour, and creativity to bring stories to life.
🎨 UOI Learning Experiences
Students will:
• Create artwork inspired by Eric Carle’s collage style
• Retell parts of the story through movement and role play
• Discuss their favourite parts of the story and explain why

• What was your favourite story this week?
• How can we tell stories without using words?
• What did you create during UOI?
• Which character did you like the most and why?
