Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
KG1: they used hand-printing to create under the water.
KG2: finished the unit discovering Nature, they draw nature as they see and then they did I the reflection.
Grade 1: They started new clay unit ( telling stories).
Grade 2: They started new printing unit about light and dark and they discovered that we can create art from shadows.
Grade3: They started new clay unit, they know everything now about clay and next class they will start to create a pencil case look like an alien.
Grade 4: They started printing unit and they are discovering the characteristics of Islamic art like symmetry and unity and geometric shapes, they started to create an Islamic design to create a stamp and mono print.
‘Grade 5: they continued the clay unit and they started to add the sea creatures details to their pinch pot.
Grade 6: They started collage unit about their learning journey in ABIS.
