Dear Families,

We understand that learning English can feel challenging for some children. Sometimes they may not feel motivated to read or practice, especially if they find it difficult. This is completely normal, and with your support at home, small steps can make a big difference.

Children do not need long study time to improve. What helps most is short, positive, and consistent practice every day. Even 5–10 minutes can help your child build confidence.

Here are simple ways you can help at home:

  • Talk about pictures:
Look at a book or even a picture. Ask your child: “What can you see?” Let them say simple words like “cat,” “boy,” or “car.”
  • Use English in daily routines:
Try small words during the day like:
“Come here”, “Sit down”, “Good job”, “Let’s go”.
Repeating these daily helps children learn naturally.
  • Read together (very short):
Even one page is enough. Point to the words and pictures. Do not worry if your child cannot read everything—just trying is important.

Mini Challenge for This Week:
Spend 5 minutes every day looking at a book or pictures and saying 3 English words together.

Important Message:
Children need encouragement, not pressure. When they feel happy and safe, they are more willing to try. Praise your child for every small effort: a word, a sound, or even trying to read.

Together, we can help your child grow step by step.
