Dear parents,
It has been a productive week across the school, with students of all ages fully engaged in their learning. It is always encouraging to see the growing independence and enthusiasm with which our students approach their work each day.
Earlier in the week, the windy conditions certainly made their presence felt on campus. My thanks go to our maintenance team for the speed and care with which they ensured everything was quickly brought back to order.
In the Secondary School, our Grade 10 students have now come through an important week of mock examinations as they prepare for the MYP eAssessments. These experiences give students a clearer sense of where they are in their learning journey and help guide the work still to come.
Across the school, Term 3 Progress Reports have now been shared with families. These offer a snapshot of how students are progressing at this point in the year. If you would like to explore your child’s progress further, we encourage you to connect with teachers during the upcoming conferences. Student Led Conferences in the Primary School and Parent Teacher Conferences in the Secondary will take place next week, giving students, parents and teachers the opportunity to meet and discuss your child’s learning at ABIS.
Wishing you and your family a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
Dominic Robeau
