This week we were pleased to welcome students back to school following the break, and we hope that everyone had an enjoyable and restful time despite the challenging weather conditions. The impact of the weather was felt across the week, including the need to move to online learning on Sunday. In addition, a combination of factors such as the swimming pool temperature and ongoing conditions meant that we unfortunately had to cancel the swim gala.

Despite these disruptions, it has still been a positive and productive week within PE. Secondary students were able to take part in additional volleyball practice, continuing to build on their skills, teamwork, and understanding of the game. Alongside this, students also participated in a range of team-based activities, helping to reinforce communication, cooperation, and overall engagement.

These sessions have provided a valuable opportunity for students to consolidate their learning before moving into their next units. Looking ahead, students will begin their swimming and aesthetic movement units next week, where they will have the chance to develop new skills and explore different areas of physical education.
