Dear Primary Families,

It has been great to welcome students back to school this week following the Eid and mid-term break, and to return to our regular school routines. I hope that families were not too badly affected by the heavy rain during the holiday period and that you were still able to enjoy some time together.

This week, we have been celebrating Maths Week across the Primary School. A particular highlight has been the work led by Ms. Amy and Ms. Sri, alongside our Grade 4 students, who did an excellent job of running maths game sessions for younger students. They also took responsibility for organising and managing the Estimation Jar competitions, which were a big hit. The Grade 4 students showed great confidence and leadership, and we thank the entire Grade 4 team for their efforts and expertise in making the week such a success.

The week ended with a fun assembly, where we enjoyed a couple of large-scale games of chance, including Rock, Paper, Scissors and Heads or Tails. It was a lively and enjoyable way to bring Maths Week to a close.

Looking Ahead
Next week, we will begin the final round of ASAs, which will run for seven weeks. If your child is attending any sessions, please ensure they are collected promptly at 4:00 pm on ASA days.

On Thursday next week, we will issue Term 3 Progress Reports, and the following week, on Wednesday, 15th April, we will hold our Student Led Conferences. These are always a highlight of the PYP year, and I look forward to seeing how students share and celebrate their learning and progress. Further details will be shared via Newsflash.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Best regards,
Matthew
Primary Team Lead
