Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful spring break.
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
KG1: they printed trees by using handprints and fingerprints.
KG2: continue to discover Nature, they draw the 4 seasons by adding the details for their favorite season and the practice coloring with color pencils.
Grade 1: made painting about past and future, what was before and after.
Grade 2: continued working on their collage unit and they started to add texture and layers to their project ( landscape, cityscape, nature or abstract art).
Grade3: continued working on the construction unit by discovering more information about the old Egyptian civilization, they are starting making Egyptian city diorama by using different materials.
Grade 4: They started printing unit and they are discovering the characteristics of Islamic art like symmetry and unity and geometric shapes.
‘Grade 5: they started clay unit and they started to know about clay and draw sketches about their ideas to make a see creatures pinch pot.
Grade 6: continued working on their drawing unit ( one point perspective) they started to understand the color theory and they colored part of their artwork..
