Dear Parents,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend .
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
KG1: they printed some animals and added texture for the background.
KG2: continue to discover Nature, they draw a landscape by adding land, water, sky and they started to color it today.
Grade 1: made painting their favorite place, they started to use line and shape as a part of the 7 elements of art to draw their own ideas and they started to understand how to choose the right size of the brush and paint it.
Grade 2: continued working on their collage unit and they started to add texture and layers to their project ( landscape, cityscape, nature or abstract art).
Grade3: continued working on the construction unit by discovering more information about the old Egyptian civilization, they are starting making Egyptian city diorama by using different materials.
Grade 4: They finished the painting unit and today was their reflections about it.
Grade 6: continued working on their drawing unit ( one point perspective) they started to understand the color theory and they colored part of their artwork..
