Dear Primary Families,
As we come to the end of this four-day week, we also mark the close of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Over the past four weeks, students have adapted very well to the adjusted school hours, and we thank you for your continued support during this time. When we return after the break on Sunday, 29th March, we will resume our regular school timetable.
To all families celebrating, we wish you a happy and enjoyable Eid. Ramadan has been a time of reflection, generosity, and community, and it has been good to see these values reflected across the school. We hope the days ahead provide time to rest, celebrate, and enjoy being with family and friends.
While it has been a quieter week in school, learning has continued steadily in classrooms, and we now look ahead to a busy and enjoyable final term. There is plenty to look forward to, including Maths Week, Book Week, the Primary Swimming Gala, summer concerts, and our Grade 6 Graduation ceremony. These are always special moments in the school year and ones we look forward to sharing with students and families.
As we head into the break, it can also be a great opportunity to keep learning going in simple ways at home. Encouraging your child to read regularly, talk about what they are reading, and share their learning from school helps to build confidence and deepen understanding.
We wish all families a safe, happy, and relaxing break.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the weeks ahead.
Best regards,
Matthew
