Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend .
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
KG1: they glazed their pinch pots.
KG2: continue to discover Nature, they draw a landscape by adding land, water, sky, …….
Grade 1: continued working on their painting unit where we are in place and time, they started to use line and shape as a part of the 7 elements of art to draw their own houses and they outline it with markers, they started to understand how to choose the right size of the brush and paint it.
Grade 2: continued working on their collage unit and they started to sketch their idea to create ( landscape, cityscape, nature or abstract art).
Grade3: continued working on the construction unit by discovering more information about the old Egyptian civilization, they are finished making 3D temple by using different materials.
Grade 4: Discovered warm & cool colors. Now they are creating their own abstract art or a landscape ideas to describe their feelings.
Grade 5: today is last day of digital art unit annd they did their reflection and celebrate the unit with all subjects, congratulations Mr. Mike & Ms. Megan for the lovely exhibition.
Grade 6: continued working on their drawing unit ( one point perspective) they started to draw buildings.
