Dear Parents,

As our weeks continue to progress, our Kindergarten PE classes are filled with opportunities to learn new techniques, refine previously acquired skills, and, of course, enjoy plenty of fun and laughter along the way.

This week, our Physical Education activities were especially focused on developing one of our key ATL skills: Communication, with a strong emphasis on being good listeners. Students took turns acting as leaders and participants, following instructions and respecting turns. It was wonderful to observe how some of our young learners are already very confident in giving clear instructions, while the majority are showing noticeable improvement in listening attentively to others.

Another activity focused on body control at a steady and controlled pace while navigating obstacles. Students were given the choice to perform a forward roll or a side roll, depending on their comfort level and confidence. The activity concluded with a short sprint, allowing them to pass the turn to the next teammate.

This has been a very meaningful week for all of us, as students are beginning to understand that when we are new to an activity, it is important to move slowly and carefully, and that as we gain confidence and experience, we can gradually increase our speed and challenge ourselves further.

I would also like ti inform you that swimming lessons for Kindergarten will resume starting next week, and the schedule will be as follows:

  • K1 – Wednesday, 9:00–9:40
  • K2B (Ms. Khadija) – Monday8:20–9:00

Thank you for your continued support.

Warm regards,
Ms. Nuria
