Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds you well. With the Winter Concert on December 15th rapidly approaching, I wanted to provide an update on the dedicated rehearsal process and recent activities.
All our Middle Years Programme (MYP) music students (Grades 7, 8, and 10) are fully focused on preparing for the performance at the Mazoon. As part of their curriculum, students are currently reflecting on their role as artists, considering their contribution to the ensemble and their personal growth as musicians.
Here is the progress by grade:
- Grade 7: Students are successfully finally assembling their class song for the Winter Concert. This crucial stage involves unifying all parts and perfecting the ensemble sound, demonstrating their collaborative skills.
- Grade 8: The Grade 8 class has worked hard and prepared several songs for the concert, showcasing their versatility across different musical styles and group formats.
- Grade 10: Our Grade 10 students have approached the complex arrangement of their class song diligently and with great maturity. Their commitment to overcoming rehearsal challenges is truly commendable.
We also want to acknowledge the success of the recent Christmas lighting event at the Crowne Plaza, which featured the joyful participation of several of our primary students!
We are very excited about the quality of the music and look forward to December 15th to present our songs to you. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and commitment our students are showing.
Thank you for your continued support.
