Dear KG2 Families,

We are happy to share this week’s learning with you.

First, thank you for joining us at the Winter Concert. The children practiced with so much excitement, and having you there made them feel proud and confident.

In our Unit of Inquiry, How the World Works, we explored the sky and weather. The children enjoyed making their own clouds and drawing what they could see in the sky on paper plates. We also started learning our seasonal song, which the children loved singing during our circle time.

In Phonics, we learned the letter G through a fun story and song. The children created a giraffe craft, which helped them remember the sound.

In Mathematics, we practiced writing numbers and matching them to their quantities. We also revisited 2D shapes — circle, rectangle, triangle, and square — and talked about how many sides and corners each shape has.

Feel free to click on the link to see some selected photos from this week.

Wishing you a lovely and restful weekend.

Warm regards,
Ms. AlJabri & Ms. Maryam
