Dear KG2 Families,
It is wonderful to share with you our learning highlights for this week.
This week, our discussion focused on Earth and what we can see on it. The children explored how different colors represent different parts of the Earth — blue for water, green for trees, and brown for the desert. They enjoyed working together in groups to create their own Earth craft.
In Mathematics, we continued working on sorting objects and began putting groups together to see “how many altogether,” as an introduction to simple addition.
In Phonics, we introduced the letter D. The children enjoyed listening to the story and singing the letter song to help them remember the sound.
