Another busy week has passed by quickly as we continue to learn more about the Earth, our planet and start to understand how to be a great inquirer! We are trying to ask questions and share our knowledge and the things we have learnt.

We continue to observe, more closely, the natural objects from Earth and did some very detailed drawings. We learn more vocabulary and match photos and words with different levels of difficulty which challenges our phonic knowledge. Seeing friends help each other read is always pleasing!

We have made other transdisciplinary connections as well as English, Science and Art- using Maths vocabulary outside which will help us describe Earth and it’s landforms too. Again, small groups tried to work cooperatively to take turns capturing photos that demonstrated they understood the vocabulary big/small, tall, long and short.

Finally, we also enjoyed an earth story with Ms Juhaina in the Library and this gave us the opportunity to check out some very special books- that will give us more information about the Earth as we continue our inquiries!
