I hope this message finds you well as we continue our preparations for the Winter Concert on December 15th!
Our Grade 7 students are making excellent progress with their class song. They are focusing on blending their individual parts and ensuring that the dynamics and articulation of the piece are accurate.
In Grade 8, students are tackling two pieces for the concert. They are diligently practicing a general ensemble song and have also begun rehearsals for a small group piece. This approach is helping them develop both their large-group performance skills and their confidence in chamber music settings.
The Grade 10 class is demonstrating exceptional commitment, practicing their Jazz song very hard. They are focusing on the stylistic nuances required for the piece, ensuring their interpretation is both technically sound and musically expressive.
It is inspiring to witness the dedication of all our MYP students as they work toward this major performance. We look forward to celebrating their hard work with you at the concert!
