Dear KG2 Families,

As always, we are happy to keep you updated about our learning journey with our little learners.

This week, we continued exploring the five senses. The children shared their ideas about how our senses help us learn about the world around us. The fun part was doing hands-on experiments! We explored:

  • Sound: using glasses filled with different levels of water and tapping them with a metal spoon to hear how the sounds change.
  • Color mixing: experimenting with primary colors to create new colors.
  • Popcorn investigation: using all five senses — hearing the popcorn pop, smelling it, seeing the changes, touching the texture, and tasting it. It was a busy and exciting experience!

In Mathematics, we learned about grouping objects by size, color, and shape. We also introduced the number 10 in fun and engaging ways.

In Phonics, we focused on the letter “M.” The children enjoyed listening to the story and song, and created a mouse craft for the letter.

As always, please click on the link week 11 to enjoy some photo highlights from this week.

Wishing you all a wonderful and restful weekend!

Warm regards,
Ms. AlJabri & Ms. Maryam
