Dear Secondary Families,

As we come to the end of our first term, it’s been wonderful to reflect on what a positive and purposeful start to the year it has been across our school. Students have approached their learning with energy, curiosity, and kindness, showing enthusiasm across the different subject areas. Classrooms have been lively with discussion, creativity, and teamwork, and it’s been rewarding to see students thriving both academically and personally. It has also been particularly impressive to see so many of our students involved in Service as Action projects and CAS experiences, finding meaningful ways to contribute to their communities and make a difference beyond the classroom.

This week, our Primary and Secondary Student Councils came together to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Their well organised bake sale brought students and staff together in a meaningful act of service, with all funds raised going towards cancer research. Initiatives like this remind us how our students take action, showing compassion and leadership while making a positive difference in the world around them.

Today, you will have received your child’s Progress Report. These reports provide a snapshot of learning so far, highlighting strengths and identifying areas for continued growth. We encourage you to take time to sit together as a family to read through the report, celebrating achievements and discussing goals for the term ahead.

After the holiday, we look forward to meeting with you during our Parent Teacher Conferences, where teachers will be available to discuss the reports in more depth. Please ensure that you have signed up for your appointments in advance.

Finally, I want to thank our students, staff, and families for your continued enthusiasm and support this term. It has been a rewarding start to the year, and we are proud of the kindness, effort, and commitment shown by everyone in our community.

Wishing you all a restful and well-deserved holiday. We look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for another exciting term ahead.

Warm regards,

Andy Cooper
