Dear KG2 Families,
We are happy to share with you our learning from this week! 🌟
This week, we focused on learning about the brain — how it helps us think, feel, and control our bodies. We discussed that “the brain is the boss of the body — it tells us what to do!” To make this concept fun, we played a game of “Simon Says,” where children acted only when their brain gave them the right message.
In Phonics, we introduced the letter Nn. Children listened to the story for the letter, practiced how to write it, and enjoyed making a letter N collage to show their creativity.
During Math time, we introduced a Brain Game that encouraged the children to think and focus — helping them strengthen their thinking skills. We also learned about the number 7 using the fun rhyme:
“Over and down from heaven, that’s how we write number seven.”
