1. This Week in Our Learning:
• We introduced the HL essay in DP English today. For this task the students will choose a line of enquiry and examine one of the texts that we have studied in the course. This will be their first piece of formally assessed work for the English course. Amanda and Marie have a total of 13 texts to choose from.
2. Looking Ahead:
• By next Thursday, Maria and Amanda should make their choice for which text they want to examine and have an idea of how what they specifically want to explore (the line of enquiry).
