This week we have continued our Who We Are unit by learning about the heart. One of our students brought in a fantastic model of the heart and lungs that we used to show how the blood picks up oxygen from the lungs and carries it around the body through the arteries and back to the heart through the veins.
In teams, we also started our lifesize bodies, where we will create the body systems and write labels and explanations of how they function.
Ms Maryann came in to talk to us about different types of action. Action is a key part of our units of inquiry and we are looking forward to seeing what type we can take.
