I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to provide an update on the progress of our music students.
In Grade 7, students continue to make great strides in their song performances and music reading skills. Their central unit of inquiry, “Music for Video Games,” is proving to be both engaging and a fantastic learning experience.
Our Grade 8 students are now diving into the structural elements of the Blues, learning about its form and how to apply these concepts in their own compositions.
In Grade 10, we are continuing our exploration of various Jazz styles, with students further developing their understanding and interpretive skills.
The dedication and enthusiasm of our students have been wonderful to see.
