Dear KG2 Families,

We are happy to share with you some highlights from our learning journey this week. It has been a week full of conversations, teamwork, and exploration.

In our Unit of Inquiry, children reflected on how they have grown and changed. During circle time, we looked at their baby photos (thank you for sending them!) and compared what they could do then and what they can do now. It was wonderful to hear their ideas and see them begin to understand the concept of growth and change.

In Literacy, we introduced the letter T. The children enjoyed creative activities, such as making a tiger puzzle. They practiced using scissors, building their thinking skills, and strengthening their fine motor skills.

In Mathematics, we introduced the number 3 with the rhyme: “Around the tree, around the tree, that’s how I write number 3.” We also explored measurement by comparing taller and shorter. The children worked together to measure their own heights and we displayed them on the wall, so they can see and compare how tall they are.
