Dear Secondary Families,
It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached the end of the second week of school. The start to the year has been really positive, and it’s been fantastic to see our students settling into routines so quickly. The atmosphere around the school has been full of energy, with classes already well underway and lots of great learning taking place.
A big thank you to everyone who came along to our Parent Information Evening earlier this week. It was great to meet so many of you in person and to have the chance to talk about the year ahead. These evenings are such an important part of building strong partnerships between school and home, and your support makes a huge difference to the experience our students have each day.
Next week, we’ll be starting our After-School Activities (ASAs). Sign-up sheets went out earlier this week, and we hope that every student can find something that sparks their interest. ASAs are a brilliant way for students to try something new, develop skills, and spend time with friends outside of lessons. Thank you for encouraging your child to get involved this term.
Over these first two weeks, it’s been fantastic to see our students showing such positivity and resilience as they settle into new classes and expectations. Please remember that your child’s advisor is always the first point of contact if you have any questions or concerns. They are there to support both students and families throughout the year.
Thank you again for your support as we get this year underway. It’s been a great start, and I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead as we continue working together to give our students the best possible experience.
Kind regards,
Andy Cooper
Secondary Team Leader
