Hello Everyone!
I’m delighted to introduce myself as your child’s new French teacher. I’m Miss Tania Juricevic, but most students quickly start calling me Miss J (much easier, don’t you think?).
I was born and raised in France, and I’ve been teaching internationally since I was 19, in Scotland, Mexico, the UAE, Sudan, and beyond. My Master’s in French as a Foreign Language (France) and PGDE (Scotland) gave me the theory, but it’s my students who have taught me the most. Travelling and working across cultures has shaped my open-minded approach, and I’m passionate about passing on not just language skills, but adaptability: a must-have in our fast-changing world!
You’ll get regular updates here on Broadcaster, plus an email from me if there’s ever anything important to discuss. And it’s not all about concerns! Your child’s wins will be celebrated loudly and often! We’ll be using ManageBac and Google Classroom as our main learning hubs, with one easy-to-follow Google Slides per unit so everything’s in one place.
Languages should be fun, so while we count down to the start of term, why not kick things off with a friendly Duolingo competition at home? You might be surprised who ends up with the bragging rights!
I can’t wait to meet you in person very soon.
Warm wishes,
Miss J
