As we wind down the 2024-2025 school year and finish up the MYP experience in grade 10, we are looking ahead. The class of 2027 have made choices for the diploma program and in many of their classes are now discussing what that looks like in the next couple of years. For English, we have been discussing what we are interested in studying.
I provide them with a list of books that we have available (already have classroom sets or digital access) and then we look at how we could construct the course. After a week of intriguing and engaging conversations, we are almost settled on the six books that we will study in the diploma program. The survey closes today. So from next week, I can start planning and, if they are keen, they can start reading.
