Dear KG2 Families,
Thank you so much to all the parents who joined us for the Open Classroom session today! Your presence meant a lot—not just to your child, but to all of us. It brought so much positive energy and excitement to the class. It was lovely seeing you work side by side with your child during choice time activities.
This week, we continued exploring the story The Little Red Hen. The children enjoyed talking about the characters and had lots of fun acting out the story using character masks!
In math, we’re still focusing on 3D shapes and their features. We talked about:
- Cube – shaped like a box, with 6 equal square sides, and it slides rather than rolls.
- Sphere – round like a ball, it can roll in any direction.
- Cone – has a round flat bottom and a pointy top, and it rolls in a circle (but not like a ball!).
- Cylinder – has two flat round sides and one curved side; it rolls forward and backward.
During literacy time, we’ve been reviewing letter sounds, and the children are doing a fantastic job with their revision!
Lastly, feel free to click the link Week 34 to enjoy some lovely photos from our week’s learning experiences.
Wishing you all a restful and joyful weekend!
Warm regards,
Ms. AlJabri & Ms. Maryam
