Dear parents,
This week, our 7th-grade music students have embarked on the composition task that serves as the summative assessment for their current interdisciplinary unit. They are now applying the knowledge and skills they’ve gained to create their own musical pieces, demonstrating their understanding of the unit’s central concepts through their compositions.
Our 8th-grade music students have enthusiastically begun working on the class song that they will perform at the upcoming summer concert. This collaborative project allows them to contribute their musical ideas and work together to create a memorable piece for the event. I am looking forward to hearing their collective creativity come to life.
Please be aware that our 10th-grade music students have now commenced their e-assessments. Due to the focused nature and time commitment required for these assessments, they will not have regular music classes for the next couple of weeks. I wish them the very best as they demonstrate their learning through this process.
