Dear Secondary Families
I have been working from home this week due to my knee surgery. I am pleased to say that everything went well and I really appreciate the support and well wishes from our community. Although it will be a while before I am able to move freely, I am looking forward to being back in school from Monday next week.
Our Grade 12 and 10 students are now well into their exams and we have been very impressed with how well they have prepared and conducted themselves throughout. Grade 11 Exams will start on the 18th May.
Secondary Open Classrooms
I am pleased to announce that we are planning to invite parents into our classrooms during the morning of June 3rd. This will coincide with our scheduled Parent Coffee Morning and will give you an opportunity to see the MYP in action. More details to follow.
School Uniform Reminder
A gentle reminder to ensure your child comes to school in the appropriate school uniform. The following guidance is taken from our Parent Handbook:
Clothing Guidelines (from the School Clothing Policy):
All students from G1 to G12 are required to wear ABIS-branded tops (shirts, blouses, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets) for all daily activities and classes, including PE. The ABIS logo must be visible at all times. These tops should be purchased directly from the school, from the available choices and colours.
Students may choose what they wear below the waist, as long as it aligns with the school’s guidelines.
