I’ve been incredibly proud of my Grade 8 English group this week- I have seen them work diligently to complete the planning for their Summative Essay and then write it. It’s been fantastic to see them grow in confidence just in the last 2 weeks and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with them in the coming weeks!
Some G8 students also travelled to our local Autism Centre this morning. I didn’t have the privilege of going with them but I really enjoyed talking to the students about what they found out when they got back to school. The students who went to interview the principle gained huge insight and knowledge into what the centre does and what it is like to have Autism. This work is all part of our preparation to raise awareness about Autism throughout April- watch this space!
