Dear KG2 Families,
As we wrap up another exciting week, we’re delighted to share some updates about our little learners!
In our Unit of Inquiry, we continued working on My Life Seed Cycle booklets and planting seeds. It has been wonderful to see the children confidently naming the parts of a plant. Some have even started writing the words, while others are labeling them with beginning sounds—a fantastic achievement!
During math time, we introduced positional words such as in, on, next to, under, and in between. The children also explored a new addition game using unifix cubes to build math problems and find solutions through hands-on activities.
In literacy, we introduced the letter B and made beautiful butterflies to connect the letter with a word that starts with it. We also introduced the sight words “it is“, encouraging children to find examples around the classroom.
