Grade 7 Oman Week Camping Trip – Sifah Beach
This week, our Grade 7 students spent three days camping at Sifah Beach as part of their Oman Week experience. This trip is always a highlight of the year, providing students with the chance to step outside their usual routines, take on new challenges, and develop important life skills in a unique outdoor setting.
The students threw themselves into a range of activities that tested their teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving skills. Whether it was tackling group challenges, taking part in water-based activities, or simply adapting to life at camp, they embraced each experience with enthusiasm. Beyond the adventure, the trip also gave them the opportunity to appreciate Oman’s incredible natural landscape and culture, reinforcing the importance of learning beyond the classroom.
A huge well done to all our students for their fantastic attitude throughout the trip. It was great to see them supporting one another, pushing their limits, and making the most of every opportunity. They truly embodied our school motto: Challenge Yourself, Involve Yourself, Be Your Best! A special thank you to our dedicated teachers and trip leaders for ensuring a safe and enriching experience for our students.
This trip, along with the Grade 8 Sailing Camp and Grade 9-11 trip planned for April, will no doubt be a lasting memory for all involved, reinforcing the importance of experiential learning in shaping confident, well-rounded individuals.
International Food Evening
We have been very busy today making final preparations for today’s event. I am sure it will be an enjoyable and memorable occasion. There will be food stalls from each continent, performances and a variety of different games. All proceeds will go to our designated charity Takaful. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Teachers Day
School will be closed on Sunday for Teachers Day. We have all been impacted by teachers in our past and I am sure we all have stories to tell of those amazing teachers who made a lasting impact on our life’s.
Have a lovely long weekend.
